The Gumboot is on the corner of Butler and Holt Street near the Bus Transit centre as you go into Tully township . To celebrate the title of The " Wettest Town in Australia " Tully has a festival every year and one event is to see who can throw a number 8 gumboot the furtherest

My husband's grandmother is the Valentine that Valentine Plains was named after. Do you have any pictures of that area. I'm guessing that your photo of the "Ranch in Koombrit" has similar terrain. Right?
