This 15' x 35' mural was created in the summer of 1997 by artist Michael Moody. He is a 2004 NYFA (New York Foundation for the Arts) fellowship recipient and paints mainly in oils on canvas.
A Gloucester icon for sure. As a kid (1940's) I remember a photographer being there with a big old field camera on a tripod. Everyone had to have their picture taken in front of the "Man At The Wheel".
