Between Salecchioi Superiore and Alpe Vova is a small frazione of two homes and many outbuildings called Casa Francoli. The Della Maddalena have lived there from 1620 until the present. My gsrandfather was born here in 1871. I recognize my cousins in the photo!.
This is the saw mill in Upper Salecchio. The location is farther southwest than placement on Google Earth at this time. My ancestors lived in this area from 1620 until the present.
This frazione actually is Casa Francoli, my grandfather's birthplace. It is northeast of Salecchio Superiore. Two families lived there. The oldest part of the home to the north (behind the little chaapel) was built in 1620.
