Beautiful place, beautiful capture!
I'm glad you liked it, studio4t1 - thanks for the visit :) - Greetings from Plymouth!
@lemonranger - there are one or two similar amongst my collection, to those who look.
Strangely devoid of inline skaters and dog walkers. Maybe they have all nipped off to B & Q to get some Weathershield to repaint the tatty and unloved red end of terrace house
Never properly painted the poles look so much better on their own without the ragged tea towel sized flags of friendly nations which each summer unnecessarily and tackily festoon Plymouth's finest promenade.
Surprised the photographer could find some turf not pock marked, scorched and scarred by one off foil BBQ trays.
He looks a bit like Dirk Bogarde, with all the baggage that entails.
Iconic hopes on the symbolic phallus. Underlit at night. Maybe not the full lantern light but it would benefit from some medium bright lamp inside the top on late summer evenings.
Bit posed and the dear lady looks like the only tripper about despite it being July and high summer. Is it any wonder the Lido is losing money hand over fist?
That yellow boat is still there with its for sale sign
