In the winter of 1979 when my grandparents lived in Downside House it snowed so hard the road in this picture was closed and the lane opposite was under a 2 metre snowdrift.
I can not recall how many times I passed by this church. Suffice it to say that being placed directly in the path that I took from my home to my school and back five years, I passed by this church over and over again.
Hi Bert, I was @ St.Francis at Katete. Helped build a small house for staff, my wife helped in the hospital. I have been giving advice in Chipata. Its amazing what you can locate in Google!
