LG Gudrun

No, 逃离城市, we haven't been in Beihai Park. We passed along without a stop after visiting the Forbidden City. It's impossible to visit every spot of interest in five days and we preferred to walk through the hutongs, breath the air that the people do breath, smell what they smell, see what they look and try to feel what they feel.

For example, we went to the Lama Temple but arrived too late so it was closed. What might have been sad news turned into a very interesting experience. We just walked the hutong south the Lama Temple and met very kind people we'll never forget. An old woman who thought we were lost and wanted to guide us out of the narrow streets. A young couple, Kevin and Grace, which helped us understand the woman (they spoke English) and led us to the Dongzhimen restaurant street. We spent time with them and this will be part of our life forever.

Friendly. tidjj
