That's a great coastal picture, captures how over run the sea defences get sometimes.

Yes -- Many of the "deans" look like that from the sea. I did enjoy your dramatic pictures of the undercliff swamped by stormy seas.

Yes - the cafe is still there. It recently changed owners and went up market a tad, still great though.

This is Newhaven Fort taken from the car ferry sometime during the Pleistocene period when the earths rocks looked very different to how they do now. Well done to whoever managed to get this photo.
