One of those days when the sumacs are bright red. This is looking north from the south end beyond the gate opening to the west. When will it be completed?
The Agnew Reserve was donated to the Couchiching Conservancy. It has a loop trail (yellow/green) with several ponds and some unusual sand areas with a sharp ridge. There are some very special orchids and sedges to be seen if you look carefully. Walk from the parking space for Fawcett Reserve on Shoreline Drive at the Trent Canal by Highway 11.

East Don River is Charles Sauriol Reserve. Many bridges and a paved path are planned for this river valley.

Snowshoed that trail again on Friday. Just as gorgeous one winter later. Apparently, there is a lone wolf who might just follow you around. Beware!
