Greetings Umiyama, FZ and Susan, Thanks for the visits and wonderful comments. The host at the Inn where we stayed suggested this walk instead of doing the typical temples and shrines. We are glad we did. The misty weather made for an amazing trip down the path.

Efectivamente Umiyama, es mi segunda casa en un pueblo muy pequeño cerca de la ciudad donde vivo(a media hora de viaje), se llama Trevijano de Cameros y vamos todos los sábados y domingos que podemos a descansar, porque como bien dices, es un lugar tranquilo en la montaña a 1.010 metros de altitud.La foto es de la parte trasera de la casa, lo que llamamos el patio.- Un saludo desde Logroño. Recently completed, the bridge is part of the Virgina & Truckee Railroad restoration project. Eventually, trains will run between Carson City and Virginia City. The Carson Range of the Sierra Nevada mountains is visible in the distance.

In 1919, the Wagner and Company Mine developed the area along Mount Ophir, northwest of the town of Darwin. After WWII, the area was purchased by the Anaconda Copper Mining Company, which exploited rich lead deposits in the area until 1970. The decaying remains of the mining camp are as substantial as the town of Darwin itself, barely visible to the right of the photograph.
