Andrea, The signs are warning tourists about... snakes, vicious spiders, etc. It is easy to be discouraged and never stray from a beaten path. In this rather desolate place you will find very few trees. After walking for 10 hrs in a full sun, I came to seek shade under a single tree. As I turned around I saw signs of this valley inhabitants from thousands years ago - petroglyphs. I was literally overwhelmed and moved by their "recordings". This valley had a long, very long history. No, we were not the first people here, nor were we last.
Thanks, Friend. It is a local, right road where this photo finishes the passable part, soon the way this noticeable one; but he is not passable, safe in mountain bike, as did I it, when she takes this photo and she finishes in a bridge in the limit of the county of my town. In Google Earth, you can follow the way and to see but photos… Greetings from Lobos, Argentina

That is an amazing blue and photograph probably is not even close to what we have seen. I recommend a trip to the center of the volcano.
Thank you. More about this magic place can be found on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Mazama

Take your time watching a scenery. That was an amazing sunset and we actually were looking to the east.
This colorful sunset is triggered by massive California fires. (August 2008)
