I am a graduate from the Colorado School of Mines with a geological engineering degree. Recently started work in the oilfields as a mudlogger. Climbing and mountaineering is in full force and my lifelong passion now. A few years ago I thought about trying to always take very high quality photos but when I started technical climbing, snapshots with my favorite point and shoot just is easier. I now use Canon SD series point and shoot cameras almost exclusively and love how the photos turn out fur such a small camera! I post loads of photos and beta on Summitpost so check it out. After a few years of inactivity here on Panoramio, I am happy to see the upload process streamlined and I am going to upload photos from many of my climbing and hiking trips in 2012, 2013 and now in 2014. Enjoy and cheers! Matt - May 27, 2014

Nice photo however Stuart Lake is the lake just south of the lake you have this photo mapped (which is Eightmile Lake)

Matt Lemke,

Very nice! The high resolution gives great details!

Thanks, I have a long time to experiment more techniques and I am always excited for the next hike. Keep up the good work

Nice, cool and calm.

Exceptional Reflection

You would love this! I'm guessing you are a climber by your username. This is one of the most famous places to climb in the country...500 feet sheer vertical on one of the only Utah rock formations that is stable enough for bolts and roped protection. There were climbers there when I passed by

Yes, the arch was about 10 feet tall underneath so I was easily able to walk through

Probably a uranium miner.
