I am a graduate from the Colorado School of Mines with a geological engineering degree. Recently started work in the oilfields as a mudlogger. Climbing and mountaineering is in full force and my lifelong passion now. A few years ago I thought about trying to always take very high quality photos but when I started technical climbing, snapshots with my favorite point and shoot just is easier. I now use Canon SD series point and shoot cameras almost exclusively and love how the photos turn out fur such a small camera! I post loads of photos and beta on Summitpost so check it out. After a few years of inactivity here on Panoramio, I am happy to see the upload process streamlined and I am going to upload photos from many of my climbing and hiking trips in 2012, 2013 and now in 2014. Enjoy and cheers! Matt - May 27, 2014

"Extra information" link on the bottom right gives this: "Taken on 2006/06/15 10:59:19" Sounds about right to me. There is still a lot of snow there in June.

Lynn For months now I have been looking at your photos and want to say you are an excellent photographer and traveler. I have used your photos to help plan my trips to Utah and you have been an huge inspiration to me. I too want to hike every (or at least most) of the canyons in southern Utah. I also really enjoy alpine mountains and love to spend endless amounts of days in the mountains or desert. I am a college student now but interested in becoming very good at photography. I recently found your website and loved it. Keep up the excellent work. Your Sept. post on Segers Hole helped me as I'm going there in March and hope to climb Black Mountain as well. Thank you for your amazing gallery that continues to inspire me. petgoliath1

I saw your post to the forum and couldn't imagine why thest photos wouldn't be accepted. I am native to the Seattle area and have also summited these peaks. I really enjoy looking at your photos as they give me a different perspective of places I have been to. Keep up the good work.

I really do love this lake, one of my favorites. I will continue posting photos. Lots of trips planned for this year. I'm happy to be an inspiration as I also look to other users, including yourself, for inspiration.

Not as brittle as you may think. I really love southern Utah and the sandstone makes for great hiking and climbing. I have also seen many of your pictures especially around the Cascades. I am a native to western Washington and really love the Cascades. Going to college in Denver however and fell in love with Utah and the Rockies. I really enjoy viewing your photos of all the summits you've attained. Thanks for the comments.

Very Spacy, a wonderland.
