I am a college student working towards a geology degree at the Colorado School of Mines. I grew up in Renton Washington. My lifetime goal is too long to describe here but basically involves hiking and traveling around while documenting as many places in North America as possible. I hope to travel to other continents when personal finances allow me to. My photos will hopefully continue to improve as I learn better techniques, take more frequent trips and invest in more photo equipment after graduation. I have developed an interest in panoramas. I love the outdoors and enjoy many consecutive days in the wilderness.

As mountains go, this is a small child. But it has changed little in many generations, and our great-great-grandchildren will look on this mountain and see what you saw.

Thanks, it was an amazing clear day Matt.

How often I have read the "experts" declare that the sun or the light is best before 10:00 am or after 2:00 pm. Some even go as far as to say it's only good before 8:30 AM or after 3:30 pm. I'm glad you have proven them foolish.

Great Place, i like it.

Like Das Wasser sieht sehr erfrischend aus.

Thanks Larry! This was a gorgeous morning

Thanks for commenting. This was truly a grand place to camp!
