What a delight to find a photo of the church at Appledore! I'm a landscape painter and part way through a series of paintings of scenes of Kent. I'm using, as inspiration, a set of small pencil drawings made back around 1903, and reinterpreting them as landscape paintings. Just this morning I started a view of Appledore. I've got copies of a few of my paintings at my website, http://architectureandart.etsy.com
