In 1982 I worked for USIS teaching swimming to members of the Burundi army. We used this pool. However, when I got there the club had never been open and the pool was full of green water and slim! I cleaned it up and a few days later we were swimming in it. I also learned to ride a sailboard at the club beach. Burundi is a beautiful country and I hope this civil war gets resolved. The Burundi people were wonderful to me when I was there. The photos brought back some great memories. Thanks for the photo.
