Para quem não conhece o Medronheiro. É uma árvore que tem sempre fruto. tem frutos maduros verdes e flor ao mesmo tempo. Os seus frutos são utilizados para fazer licores e AGUARDENTE DE MEDRONHO de excelente qualidade. São Comestíveis mas não comer muitos de uma vez,porque quando bem maduros Possuem muita quantidade de álcool . Se não quiser ficar borracho!... Existe na Península Ibérica e Sul de França, na Serra de Monchique e Caldeirão-Algarve e Parque Natural da Serra da Estrela.
