Perfect capture Filippo. Like and friendly greetings, Petr
This is a message for Mr Frank Riddell.
My name is Jonathan McColl and I'm currently on holiday with family in Easter Balgedie.
I spotted this monument a couple of days ago and again this afternoon while traveling to and from Cupar on the A91 and was determined to find out what it was.
I have spent hours trying to find it on Google Maps and have finally located it and come across your photo.
The tag on this photo led me to the Wikipedia page for the monument where I was able to learn its origin.
Thank you for taking the time to post this photograph on the internet for people to see.
Kind Regards, Jonathan
Fantastic view. Very beautiful photo!
It really is quite simple Brian, but I notice that when you search for the place, you then have to click on the general area to mark it, then zoom in and drag the marker to make it accurate. I have stood here many the time on the way to the Fisher School, now a home, smelling the gasworks and the harbour! Please keep trying then join our group. I'll send you an invitation.
Beautiful! I love these grey skies. She's still moored here - does she ever move?
Looks like you could be a pigeon fancier - lovely series here :)))
I like this very much!
Passed by the Bass Rock yesterday and it still doesn't have a castle!
