That's really not where the Bran (not Brant) castle is. It's actual location is in the Brasov county, between Moieciu de Jos and Tohanu Nou, in route DN 73 from Rucar.
In the 40's, 50's and 60's this hotel on Ocean Drive in Miami (South) Beach was one of the many retirement hotels. The elderly would gather on the front porches and sit and watch the world go by. The 70's brought hard times with many vacancies. Now it is exciting and known the world over as the center of South Beach. Fashionable hotels and resturants as well as the ocean and beach attract the "beautiful" people.
