I love to walk the lanes and streets of the local villages, with my camera in hand. I will upload the more interesting photos for others to see, I am a just an old retired guy that takes pleasure in the simple things in life . I have just started to take more interest in some of the great photos by others. As you may tell from my photographs I am just a amateur, we all have to start sometime .The main thing I enjoy taking the photos and like to think that I will improve with time. My favourite subjects are Trees, old Victorian buildings and there chimneys, I also find village Churches and there surroundings so interesting. So I have started a small group album just dedicated to The Village church.

Hi Bob, thanks for your poetic comments and YS/L :) Regards, Rosa.

It was a bit of luck David. I just walked around the side of the church and saw them, so it was a quick shot! Thanks for your L&F. I agree, very British :)

Dear Diggory. They do all look delicious, but I did not try any, because I am fat enough and do not need any more.!

Hi Rosa Not that keen on the front garden use, may look good lit up at night or somewhere for the gardner to brew a pot of tea, or even kennel for the guard dog. On reflection they would be good for a game of Sardines. Thanks for the like vote. Regards Bob

Hi Rosa I am not a great fan of crowds, too many glum faces. Thanks for the LIKE. Regards Bob

Hi Rosa Its an inner dock,Salt house dock.It was the day when all three Queen liners were docked on the Mersey, just about 200 yards away, I could not get close with the camera, so many people,so I took this scene not with the three Queens, but the three Swans just to amuse the family. Cheers Bob

Hi Rosa Time stops for no one, pubs and many village shops, post offices are sold and used for other purposes. Thanks for the L/1 feedback. Regards Bob
