I love to walk the lanes and streets of the local villages, with my camera in hand. I will upload the more interesting photos for others to see, I am a just an old retired guy that takes pleasure in the simple things in life . I have just started to take more interest in some of the great photos by others. As you may tell from my photographs I am just a amateur, we all have to start sometime .The main thing I enjoy taking the photos and like to think that I will improve with time. My favourite subjects are Trees, old Victorian buildings and there chimneys, I also find village Churches and there surroundings so interesting. So I have started a small group album just dedicated to The Village church.

Hi Rosalyn Always too much to do and so little time.No cards flowers or gifts, just a simple wish that we all have many happy times in the New Year. Regards Bob

tracing ancestors - Elizabeth Groom baptised here 1811 - by the look of the building you would think it was fairly new red bricks.

Thank you very much, Elka,

for you and your loved ones

Hello Dave, thank you so much for your kind comments. I know how difficult it can be sometimes when researching family history. My brother has been doing ours and has come across some stumbling blocks...and ours is all in this country! We get there in the end and I hope you are able to further your search. Please feel free to download any pictures you like. Bradford-on-Avon is like a mini version of the City of Bath which is nearby and Freshford is about 4 miles away, which I'm sure you know. A lovely village.

Good luck and best wishes. Rosalyn.

Hello asanloj Thanks for your comment and L/1 feedback. Regards Bob
