After the first petition with 10.500 signatures, in June 2015 Google said that "Panoramio will stay alive". Now just one year after that declaration, they decided to close Panoramio forever. Any sense of credibility is totally lost, together with our work !!!!!!!!!

Hi Dan, It's good to hear from you and thank you for your kind comments. Flickr is an excellent site for your favorite photos but it's not the greatest for when you come home from shooting photos and have a lot of photos to download. It's better for loading one or two photos at a time. I have just started with ipernity and it seems pretty good. Lots of Panoramio people are moving there. They even have a Panoramio refugee group to help us find one another.http://www.ipernity.com/home/2249800?rev=31 Do stay in touch and hopefully we will both come out of this stronger for the experience.
