A lovely shot from Frinkley lane here Mick and most certainly "liked" by me
It looks like a good day to be at Frinkley lane Mick and another shot "liked" by me
A moving occasion- it seems like yeserday. Feelin' old
somehow! A great shot in demanding conditions.
Well done, Roger (34D)
These night shots of yours have really worked out well. In this case I particularly like the reflections in the puddles on the platform.
I thought I would revisit this telegraph pole, which I instantly recognised.... It is in enough of my pictures, but Steve also found a kestrel sitting here!
We do seem to find them there quite often
I have just spent a very long time looking through your very extensive galleries. There is so much that I couldn't possibly comment everywhere.
I was happy to see this nice picture. I visited there around April 2014, and by the looks of it no progress had been made. The loco was at the back of the shed covered up with tarpaulins, and the marked cuts had still not been made. None the less an interesting idea, but the class 23 were well before my time.
Thanks for this interesting pic. Old branch to Moretonhampstead can be seen on GE for much of the way.
Genau Frank, das ist richtig. Vielen Dank
Greetings. I remember this scene all too well from commuting days.
Wait till the train stops and seek out the best steam-heated Mk1!
Settle into a nice spring cushion seat, wipe the condensation off
the window and listen to the gentle 'putter' of 31324's exhaust
as the guard blew his whistle.
Thank Mick! Roger
