Riomar indeed was a condominium complex, or as we called it then- a horizontal property. We lived on the 10th floor overlooking the ocean until November 1960 when we left as exiles. Our property was confiscated by the Castro regime and given to a member of Castro's elite. It had been such a beautiful place to live- 2 swimming pools and wonderful neighbors. A great place to raise children until Fidel Castro destroyed our lives. It's really sad to see my former childhood home fall into such disrepair.
