In the late 1969 - 1970, I lived up teh street. We used to go to Pierce Island Pool. I would stop by here, and the old gentleman that was the caretaker used to tell me stories of teh old ships and such. He sold lots of little trinkets and souveniers. He made me a whale, that looked like teh old 'Yoken's Resturant' whale. It had a glass eye, but he told me it was a diamond. Wish I still had it. I miss the old gentleman.
