Thank you for the ***12 000 000*** views!!!! I only wish is was $$$$. I could perhaps buy Panoramio from Google. ------------------------------------- **Pano is now dying a slow death!** Let us meet somewhere else! ----------------------------------------------------------------- Please read my comment on the under the photo, for more info about each location or interesting facts. Also see from now on (Sept 2012) first comment - **In case you need translation**. Sometimes I will feature between **my Best** photos, which I think deserve one more look. ---------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- Hello, my name is Tomas. I have been photographing in earlier stage of my life, but I am relatively new to digital photos (2009). I use mostly Lumix ZS5. (Jan 2011). Occasionally, I may use small Nikon 600s. (Jan 2013) I enjoy the Panoramio community and support. My home town is Toronto, Ontario, but I lived in Prague, Vienna, Kibutz Hefziba, Waukegan-IL, Calgary-Alberta. ================================= "Photography to me, means to capture more, than there is actually there!" I welcome all visitors **who come look** at my photos, I have a special fondness for those, **who come to see** them! I will not thank you individually, not because my mother did not teach me manners, but I rather spent the time to have a look in your gallery!

Uhmm... Have you seen that Panoramio closes? Piff... ( Here you have the announcement: Link ) What we are going to do now? Greetings!

Budapest Parliament (1885-1898) Architect Imre Steindl. Impressive sight on the banks of the Danube. The massive building can probably compete only with Westminster in shear size (268 m long, 20 km of corridors) . It was inspired by English gothic and build for the Hungarian millennium anniversary. A symbol of new era of democracy. It was build on the Pest side (flat) of the river not only for the ease of construction, but on the level of people, unlike the Buda Palace on the opposite hill.

40 million of bricks were used, given the population of Hungary, that is 4 bricks for every citizen.

Very nice shot, well done L

like 12+++ WOW: Greetings. ramcam0580
