Hello, Sylvain, yes this storm was indeed severe. We actually drove through it's main downdraft core in the direction that it was propagating, so we were inside of the storm for a long time! The hail was 2-3cm across but was very heavy. I could hardly see while driving! By the time we got out in front of the storm, the cold outflow had begun to push the warm air up and thus led to the cloud formations you can see in the picture.

One exposure, for 15 seconds, Sylvain. I don't really have any photo-editing software. I do adjust contrast, saturation, brightness, and may crop the photo, but only to bring it to what I remember it looking like, if that makes any sense.
