My mothers' father was stationed in Halifax with the British Army, and saw the coffins from the Titanic stacked on the wharf. He retired from the army and missed the Great War.

I road across this bridge by motorcycle once. The bridge deck is a metal grate, and a strong wind was blowing downriver, threatening to blow me sideways. It was the longest ride.

There were numerous Finns that settled here in the early 20th century.

Owls are the only bird that flies completely silently; the original stealth flyer.
