heading north to the bridge, if memory serves, a short walk back up the old highway when I parked in front of the bridge. This road runs up on the right.
That's a wonderful, scenic shot of Saskatchewan's Great Sand Hills, Robert!! If I travel there in my little car, is there a road that is passable by front wheel drive and if so, what route in from the main highway would you recommend? So have you seen any major storm recently? I've heard that central Saskatchewan got hammered by the same storm system as Edmonton and central Alberta. Hey, I have a bunch of severe storm and sky pictures if you're interested in taking a look at them. They're on the front pages of my profile now.
Hey, Robert, that's incredible and excellent capture of that supercell thunderstorm!! I have seen firsthand how intense thunderstorms in that area of high plains close to Olds and Disbury can be! The storms just roll and lower off of the foothills and continue to get stronger after rolling east onto the prairies. That's how the Pine Lake, Edmonton and Regina tornadoes formed! They also get very strong chinook winds in that area in the winter that will blow your car right off the highway!
