Aquí se encontraba la Estación de Tren de Mejia, Monumento Histórico que dió origen a la fundación Politica y futuro desarrollo del Balneario.
Lamentablemente fue demolido por la Municipalidad en un acto de Incultura Politica en deterioro de su Identidad y Patrimonio histórico.
