Greetings Martelli, Thank you for visiting the Moon Art and commenting. I took the photograph of the moon with a 200 mm lens and a 2X extender. Then I cropped the moon to the appropriate size. Last I used Photoshop to apply the lens flare filter to make it appear as though a very bright light source were just behind the edge of the moon. It worked out very well. To think, adding lens flare to a photograph when we usually try so hard to avoid it! ;-)) I am glad you like it.
