google earth in the grampians used to have the minor roads in the right spots. but after an update of some sort, they are way off. u can see the dirt track in the pic, and then the overlay is nowhere near. used to be able to zoom to a certain height and it would show walking tracks also, but thats gone as well. a few other things vanished, not sure why. youre right about peoples content not being correct. i try to put my pics in the right place, helps having a gps in the camera, but some people just put anything anywhere. the balconies and pinnacle pics end up in the middle of nowhere. best one i saw was phillip island penguins somewhere in the grampians.

Thanks,happy to share! Every time I drive past this spot,I'm amazed at the sheer size of this tree. Most of these valleys once had very large trees,but they are largely lost.
