This is not a photo of any building or hotel in Cebu City. This is taken in Shangrila's Mactan Island Resort in Lapu-Lapu City, about 10 kilometers northeast of Cebu City.
This is an ancient bulgarian fortress with the name of BELGRAD, which means White Town.
The forttress is 12 centuries old from the times of bulgarian rulers Tzar Boris and Tzar Simeon The Great.
Nice chirch with Bulgarian Medieval Style, looks like Okhrid and Nessebar churches.
The style of houses around - with "1000 windows" is Bulgarian too, but from more near historical times - from 18-19th century.
