Originally from Pittsburgh, Pa which is where I grew up and went to art school. I then lived and worked in Johnstown, Pa for five years which afforded me wonderful opportunities for outdoor and nature photography. I currently live in the Washington DC area working on Capitol Hill as a graphic designer for a federal and defense contractor.
In my spare time I enjoy getting out to explore and shoot photos of the world around me. My specialties tend to be scenery and landscapes which is what I enjoy shooting most.
My personal portfolio website can be found at http://www.stygmagrafix.com

I like how wild it still looks. You can almost image what the first settlers must have seen when they began moving westwards.

Yeah it does snow and rain a lot. I'm a Johnstown transplant, but I don't come from THAT far away and I was amazed at what a difference it was weather-wise. I don't mind the snow that much, except when I have to drive in it, tho.

Thanks. It was the first time I had been there that I can actually remember. My family had a camp in Penfield and I was told that I used was at both many times when I was a toddler. Sadly, that was almost 30 years ago so I don't recall any of it. It's a long stretch from Johnstown to the Dam, but I hope to go back again on a more regular basis.
