View from Crater Pass looking North over Slave Island. This area, known as Somalipura in the 1800's, is where the Somalis were moved to from Crater as their reed matting huts had become a fire hazard in Crater. This is also the location of a battle between the British and locals in the early 1800's. The waste ground on the left was a cemetery.
