Interesting to note that the iron ore pellets that were refined into iron then steel and then became the main frame T members of this locomotive were carried in hopper cars, pulled by locomotives with an identical colour scheme as seen here. This is because of the former Wisconsin Central's financial interest in the former EWS. The Wisconsin Central carried the pellets from the Marquette Iron Range in Michigan to Algoma Steel Inc in Sault Ste Marie, Canada.
