Ship was still there in July 2009. We didn't take the tour, but it was open.

Tony Packo's

The Most Famous Buns in the Midwest When actor Burt Reynolds visited Toledo in 1972, he made a stop at the restaurant on the suggestion of Tony's daughter, Nancy. Reynolds was the first big name to eat at Packo's, and he also began the tradition of "bun signing" when he brandished his signature on a Packo hot dog bun. Ever since then, celebrities and presidential candidates who visit the restaurant sign a bun, and have it placed on the walls of Packo's.

The MASH connection Tony Packo's Cafe gained world-wide fame when MAS*H character Maxwell Klinger, who was played by Toledo native Jamie Farr, made mention of the restaurant in several episodes. In one episode, the hospital unit sent in to Tony Packo's for hot dog casings to be used in a blood-filtering machine. Packo's was also mentioned in the famous two-and-a-half hour final episode. The cafe displays on the premises several mementos of the television series.

Classic Park is a stadium in Eastlake, Ohio, in suburban Cleveland. It is primarily used for baseball, and is the home field of the Lake County Captains minor league baseball team. It was built in 2003 at a cost of $20 million and holds 7,273 people.

Although not immediately apparent to non-locals, the stadium bears a corporate name. The naming rights were purchased by Classic Automotive Group, a large Cleveland-area chain of auto dealerships owned by Jim Brown.

In order to construct Classic Park, Eastlake, Ohio assumed $1 million in debt. This debt necessitated cuts in public services, including the firing of five police officers and a reduction in the scope of police services.

WOW! Thanks for all the info! I live in Buffalo and go to many Bison's games, hey season ticket prices are quite low, and to be in the best minor league stadium in the best city with the best food and only one small step from the majors, in which many of the BIson's players will be playing in the majors, it makes one heck of an atmosphere! I was just at the Bison's "Open House" at Dunn Tire Park and got tours of the stadioum, etc. I was up on the big screen scoreboard for about 5 minutes! It was so cool! Well, I suppose for me at least. Anyhow this is a great stadium with a GREAT SCOREBOARD!

Pilgrim John Jenney & the 1636 Grist Mill One of the main reasons the Pilgrims decided to locate in Plymouth is the waterway that is referred to today as Town Brook. Town Brook is a small river that runs through the center of Plymouth for a mile and a half and empties into the harbor next to Plymouth Rock. On this river you will find the recreation of the Jenney Grist Mill built on the location of the first mill built in the United States. The mill is operational and runs the same as it did when it was originally built in 1636.

The Pilgrims found this river important for three reasons. The first is that over the rivers mile and a half run it drops 80 feet in elevation allowing for ample waterpower. The second is that the river and the pond that feeds it are spring fed so that even in times of drought, the river never runs out of water. The third is that the river supplied the Pilgrims with their fertilizer. Every spring fish called herring migrate from the ocean up to the pond to spawn. On the way by the mill the Pilgrims would take the fish from the river and plant them in the sandy ground to fertilize for the planting of the corn. To this day, over a six-week period, thousands of fish go up this fish ladder to spawn.

John Jenney, who built the mill in 1636, changed the quality of life for the Pilgrims.By grinding corn with water power, it was easier to feed the increasing population. The building of the mill was also instrumental in the establishment of the free market system. Eventually there were over 14 mills built on this river contributing to the beginning of industry in the United States. JenneyGristMill
