Lovely view, Mike. We used to love this walk when we lived in the UK. Long ago... we hear the paths are seriously worn by the hordes of hikers these days. Thanks for the memories!

The fish-box run is a competitive event (usually for young, courageous boys) held during the annual Dory Races in the summer in Lunenburg. The boxes are slippery, and I have yet to see anyone get right across.

Our family rented this old farmhouse on an annual basis in the '50s-'60s, and we spent tranquil holidays and weekends here, away from the hordes of summer tourists to Cornwall. Water was drawn by hand from a well in the front garden. Sadly our furniture and possessions were looted one winter, and the place has since fallen into disrepair. My brother took this photo.
