Not sure I have the map position exact, but it was in this area.

Wow, really? That must have been a wonderful walk. My father first found this place on a similar walk in the late 1950s. There were 2 lovely elderly ladies living there at the time, white bonnets on their heads. He had a chat but they didn't invite him in. Afterwards, he heard from a local farmer than they had moved to a remote cottage even further into the moor, as they were getting tired of seeing so many people walking by... Yes it was such a peaceful spot. Musty and dusty, but a bit of Cornish history really. We all loved it.

Nice! Reminds me that it's time for another great meal at the Mug & Anchor pub (the red building).

This will bring back a lot of memories for all the people who went to school here on the hill above the town of Lunenburg. Who could study with that view to distract them? The school is closed now. I hope they find a good use for this lovely building.

It was taken from the north (Fundy) shore of Nova Scotia near Harbourville. I did map it as such, but the location seems to be on the island now instead of on the shore from which I took the photo. The coast in the background is New Brunswick.
