Palmina, he joined up with the other two and when we came back down the road about 30 minutes later, there was no sign of any of them.
Unfortunately, May, so many of them don't survive. Just last night a buck came out of some bushes alongside a road and severely damaged a friend's pickup truck. The buck suffered major injuries and had to be euthanized by a police officer.
Such is life in the country!
The grass grew again, and now it's cut in longitudinal stripes. I cut it a different way each week, so the grass doesn't suffer too much trauma. Next week I'll probably cut it diagonally!
