Thank you to the person who noted a change of position on this photo, but while the picture is of the construction on the hospital, it was indeed shot from the Sheraton hotel. I tend to be fairly careful to be as accurate as I can to where I took the photo, not of the subject it depicts.

HEY REVIEWER! THIS IS EXACTLY HOW IT IS ON FILM! I don't know why a few of my night shots have been rejected for google earth. The only thing I can think of is that they take a quick look at it and assume from a glance that it's photoshopped or an illustration or something. HEY REVIEWER! THIS IS EXACTLY HOW IT IS ON FILM! It's a full minute exposure (or more, I forget) and the aperture is such that you get a fairly limited depth of field. Except for some minor touchups, this is as shot.

I believe this photo was from a Summer 2006 visit.

This is the south side of the Hoboken ferry terminal building, which is clearly visible to light rail commuters. The glorious decay of this building is quite beautiful, I must admit. Funny how the wall they erected to "hide" the building from sight doesn't quite go all the way to the end..

The original larger version of this photo was lost in a hard drive crash. Luckily I still have this though, as the ribbon of clouds in the sky was quite dramatic. It reminded me of space time-warp ribbon thingy from Star-Trek Generations.

June 1996. The broadcast tower on the South WTC tower was about 30 stories tall. I wish I had taken more pictures of it, it was amazing.

June 1996, Canon AE-1. This is actually 4 photos taped together. Just up the street a commercial was filming, thus the police presence.

The pilings in the foreground really make this shot.
