G'day visitors. Greetings from West Australia. I am an amateur photographer who has done limited commercial work (very narrow subject matter) in the past. So I cannot be called 'expert' (that will be obvious to those who are!). I consider myself more a geographic photographer rather than an artistic one. Although I can't hope to tour all my friends' galleries in detail, I will try to do that as much as time and tide will allow. Thank you all for sharing, and viewing my work. Very best wishes from myself and Australia.
Jock.

My initial reaction to the wandoo woodland was 'not so pretty', especially in hot weather. But after wandering about in it a bit over the last few years, I found it harboured a few surprises, especially in spring when the wildflowers are out. They're not 'in ya face' like in the sand heath and goldfields, but when you look closely they're just as fascinating. And even the roadside wandoos in the wheatbelt are magnificent.

Glorious! Was going to canoe the Shannon a few years ago after a mate did so over a couple of days, and caught some nice redfin. Still haven't got around to it, and age is catching up.. :/
But this is tweaking my interest..

That's pretty original. Would have taken some effort to get that tor into place. Nice find FS.

Neat! This one looks slightly different to the usual Caroline. Looks like locally made.

These stores must have been a real hub in their day. Damn shame modern transport has rendered these little towns nothing more that a few houses for folks who want some peace..
