This faceted and textured Victorian glass is always interesting, I think. The faceted pieces sparkle like jewels when the sun hits the window on a sunny day.
This stained glass was originally installed in 1951 by Judson Studios of California. Judson Studios returned in 2009 to remove all the glass, return it to their studio in California for repair and conservation, and then to reinstall it in the windows at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas. This photograph is of the central window of the West Front showing workmen reinstalling the glass from the rear gallery of the church.
It was installed circa 1895 in the Methodist Church in this small town in north Texas.
Near Northeast Harbor. Beautiful gardens!
Thank you for your kind comment. This photograph was taken in 2001 using Kodachrome. The slide was scanned when I uploaded it to Panoramio approximately a year ago.
Fascinating view. Excellent image.
