This inlet to Marsa Sha'ab is within the Haleib Triangle, an area between Egypt and Sudan which may belong to Sudan but is administered by Egypt. The tall mangrove tree seen here is mentioned as having been a conspicuous landmark for mariners as long ago as 1934. [Admiralty Pilot NP64]

Egyptian Vulture (Neophren percnopterus).

The 'Eagles' are in fact Vultures. The smaller ones Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus) and the larger ones Eurasian Griffon (Gyps fulvus). The mountain in the background is Gebel Elba.

Mr. Salah Riad, This point is not near Sudan boarders, this is inside Sudan, or a disputed boarder between Sudan and Egypt at best. Egypt and Sudan boarders is in Shalateen.
