The hotel is great if you know it's not the Four Seasons or even Holiday Inn. It's a place to sleep and keep your stuff while you go and enjoy the local flavor.
Bar none, the absolute best thing about the hotel is the restaurant attached. It's authentic Mexican cooking, and the owner, Ted, will spend time at your table chatting if he's not fixing up a taste-explosion back in the kitchen.
Tequilas boasts the best margarita on the Island, and I haven't found better yet. If you hit any restaurant in the area, try to make it this one, excellent and inexpensive!
