My photos are mostly of the Western landscape. I try to document the "wide open spaces," and, of course, my photos make things look more attractive than they really are. I generally avoid uploading photos of the classic places because Google Earth will not benefit from more photos of them. Contact me at rmaughan2 AT cableone Dot net

That is pathetic. I visited this aspen clone a few years ago and took pictures, which all folks on Panoramio can see. It was nice then.

I have seen this kind of thing all too many times. Why do the cattle always seem to get into what they are intended to be excluded from?

I love this country, but try to visit early in the summer before this happens. Of course, the damage does not go away with a little green up in May and June.

Great photos, Buffalo Guy. People all over the world need to see this all- too-common, unnecessary degradation of the American West.

Preciosa foto, tiene que ser una pasada ver algo así!

Impressive view, in Holland no mountains

Greetings Ralph, Very nice, What a beautiful mountain. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Rich.

Yes, before I retired I spent most of every summer in the woods. Being in education, I had 3 months off. I wrote 3 hiking/backpacking guides, including "Hiking Idaho." The trail to this lake is in it.

Now retired, I have even more time, but I walk more slowly and view most of it from my rig.

I don't know what to say about the cemetery. It is obviously not forgotten, but is clearly not maintained. I don't know what to say about the vegetation. Perhaps the cows got it, but if so, there should be more inside the fence.

There hadn't been a fire.
