My photos are mostly of the Western landscape. Few people are visible in them.

Happy trails, Bruce

A lone, and heavily browsed fir tree on a dry ridgetop east of King Mountain.

Kent Anness,

It is white.

Agreed. That's why I took it -- the interesting cloud.

It was a very humid day for the area, slowly building to a big thunderstorm.

According to this article, there are differences. We call them aspen west of the Mississippi- http://www.gardenguides.com/108324-difference-between-birch-tree-aspen-tree.html

A nice memory to have. Perhaps too your father took you to nearby Lake of the Woods. I have fished neither.

This photo was taken just after we showed up to boat. It was during that unusual July cool spell, and a thunderstorm emerged right over the water (in photo). It slowly grew, but lasted the rest of day.

I really appreciate the L+F, Eva, good to have you visit my gallery again. Also appreciate the fun comments from stett3, JAM57 and Pam -- thanks.

Greetings from California, Bruce

Hi Roeli, and Juan, thanks for your kind words, glad you stopped by. Best Wishes, Greg.
