Many thanks Ralph !! It's a old mountain !!!

Greetings --Pierre

Hi Ralph, yes there were some interesting curves and lines this day. Look to find whatever is presented on the day you are there. Best Wishes for the New Year, Greg.

Greg, I used to go to the Lamar Valley in Yellowstone every winter to look for wildlife, wolves, to ski and do some photography. This was taken from a prime wolf watching area. Every tree, hillock, meadow, big rock, and depression have been given a name by wolf watchers. I can't remember the informal name for this tree. The photo is probably ten years old and was scanned from a transparency. June is a scan date. I have been going through some old ones that might be interesting on panoramio.

Beautiful landscape !!!!LK

Happy New Year !!--Pierre

The photo was taken just after the grazing season had ended. The canyon bottoms are productive. It is simply too many cows year after year.

This grazing allotment is a large common allotment -- many permittees (the Pleasantview allotment). I will assume you know about the tragedy of the commons. If not, we have no basis for discussion.

Dear Sir

Wontherful photo, like painting

Thank you

Best regards

Thanks. I love how the Canadian Rockies often show the various geological forms.

Thank you for looking at my photos, your comments, and rating some of them highly.

I will now look at your photos.

It might work on bison as long as a fleeing bison does not run over you.
