My photos are mostly of the Western landscape. I try to document the "wide open spaces," and, of course, my photos make things look more attractive than they really are. I generally avoid uploading photos of the classic places because Google Earth will not benefit from more photos of them. Contact me at rmaughan2 AT cableone Dot net

Yes. We came home from Nevada yesterday and went through Snowville and increasingly interesting snow flurry storms.

I have been doing a lot of this sort of thing lately!

Wonderful sunrise photo. I will be going to Crater and will definitely use your inspiration to try this point for sunrise. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Merci JLB Ciotaden ! (il y a mieux néanmoins !) Amicalement --Pierre

A favorite photo.

Not just a distant arid land fire, but taken in interesting light. I think taken maybe at sunset with the light being filtered through a deck of light clouds.

I have added you to my favorite photographers.

I like this. It shows thought as well as technical talent.

I like this well done black and white of the rain or snow flurries over the distant mountains.

Pierre and poludziber,

Thank you! It is enjoyable to stand in the immense space of the open desert at the time of year when the temperature is comfortable.
