My photos are mostly of the Western landscape. I try to document the "wide open spaces," and, of course, my photos make things look more attractive than they really are. I generally avoid uploading photos of the classic places because Google Earth will not benefit from more photos of them. Contact me at rmaughan2 AT cableone Dot net

It is you who appears to have never been to a desert. There are many living things. The facility displaced (probably killed) many desert tortoises. Much worse, it is not distributed energy. It is centralized and vulnerable to natural disasters or human attack and must be guarded. Photovoltaics are cheaper and less vulnerable.

Wonderful capture. Many greetings from Athens.

Excellent photo!!! Greetings from Athens.

Fantastic shot! Well done. Kind regards from Athens.

Bruce and Greg,

Thanks for your comments. I took ten photos and a video of this surprising (little-known)creek.

This is a favorite. like this. The burned tree trunks are especially interesting and topped off with artful distribution of green, cream, and blue-violet.

That is some coincidence! Thanks for telling me.

As far as post-Panoramio, I don't know. Perhaps Views has some merit. We will have to see.

The title of the photograph should read: "Yellowstone: Madison River near Madison Junction."

This is not the Snake River.
