My photos are mostly of the Western landscape. I try to document the "wide open spaces," and, of course, my photos make things look more attractive than they really are. I generally avoid uploading photos of the classic places because Google Earth will not benefit from more photos of them. Contact me at rmaughan2 AT cableone Dot net

Bruce MacIver,

I have signed the petition

Hi Laura and Reiner, thanks for stopping by and for the comments. Sorry Laura, No filter, this is a effect created with a Canon 16-35mm lens when stopped down to f22. Still pretty cool. Best Wishes, Greg.

Thank you for the favorite. This was, and is, a beautiful place with many wildflowers in June. The Nevada mountains offer fine photography and they are often overlooked.

Thanks. I saw the shadow coming and grabbed the shot quickly. The storm looked impressive, but it turned out to have just little rain, no lightning and a bit of wind.

Many thanks Edward !

Gary Ralstin,

I am glad you like this. I know that most visitors to this area would point their camera toward the nearby Wind River Mountains, and so I did try to capture the more subtle beauty of the large riparian area in the opposite direction.

Greetings Angelika, Thanks for the visit and the comments. I guess we all need more beauty sleep. I think I am missing out on too much...but it is fun to get out early and catch the magic as it happens. Take care and have a great weekend. Cheers, Rich

I just reported this one as inappropriate. It does not go in Wyoming and the photographer knows it doesn't.

Great Pictures Ralph!
