Bruce MacIver,

Old friend. Thanks!

Hi 蒂芙尼.林, thanks for your visit.

Hi Nadia and Randy, this was the first morning in Antarctica, it had been an interesting night as you can see by the waves. Best wishes, Greg.

Hi carlee, Sirka, Nikolai and Enzo, thanks so much for your nice comments, I will give good luck a large part of this morning. It was delightful. Best wishes, Greg.

Hi I Like and Ralph, it was a fun scene with all the white snow. Glad you stopped by.

aspen123,

I am glad the photo is useful, and I hope you find those marmots. I know the Pilot Range itself could be an island refuge for at least a few species. The last pure strain of the Pyramid Lake strain of Lahontan cutthroat trout was found in Morrison Creek on the slope of Pilot Peak itself. Transplantation of them to Pyramid Lake restored that dying strain with giant trout.

Thanks Petr and Zhsv, it is a cool place.

These big old Junipers are cool. Great shot!

Favorite! Many of your photos merit long contemplation.
